Brehs, where does Coco Gauff go from here?

Different coach, same problems. Everyone dumped on Brad Gilbert, but Coco's offense is still stagnant has hell and unfortunately has peaked

Let's be honest, Coco beat Sabelenka for her only title just playing defense/counter punching off of Sabelenka's mistakes
She sounded pretty upbeat after her loss to Badosa. The issue is the same as ever: her forehand.

To her credit, she still kept going after in even though it wasn't there. That's the only way it's gonna improve too. She coulda played safe and dragged out the match but that won't make her a better player in the long run. Let's see where she's at by the end of the year.

This is very true. I remember watching that final and sabelenka just tried to power her way through gauff but kept making errors. It felt like Sabelenka beat herself rather than gauff beat her but a W is a W. Gauff will need to do something if she wants to win multiple slams. Her forehand really needs work and her serve has been shaky

Yupp, I agree. Both her serve and forehand are very subpar

I'm seeing from so many Tennis coaches on how the Western Grip is a terrible style when hitting forehands

Coco uses this grip. shyt looks awkward as hell to be honest

Eh, I wouldn't worry just yet. She just won WTA Finals a few months ago where she beat Sabalenka and Swiatek.

It's early but this kinda feels like a match where Novak might run out of gas...guys typically tend to after they have the big victory over Carlos
