The women's semis were plenty exciting

Anyway this matchup lowkey encapsulates the whole WTA, and each woman has so much on the line:

Krejcikova was looking absolutely cooked last year, but with a win today she caps off a massive comeback and quiet as kept becomes one of the most successful WTA players of the decade ... Even tho outside of Wimbledon rn and the 21 French Open she's never even made a semifinal

Paolini having never made it past the second round before this year having a breakout year at age 28 and potentially having the best year of any player on tour
