This dude Djokovic is down 1 set, 30/0 on Murray's serve with a break against him at 4/5 meaning he's 2 points away from losing the match and he hit a tweener then win the point on a drop shot... :wow:

Didnt see the match :sadcam:

Well I did.

shyt was :stopitslime: & :bryan: in the 1st set, then got :ooh: between the 2nd and most of the 3rd. Murray got scared and nole started to :takedat: as the match progressed.

That whole rally with the tweener would've been deaded had Murray came to net instead of playing not to lose.

Nole is cut from that cloth, he never gives up (for the most part, that 6-0 set to Fed this year was :what:)

So, WTA Championships are this week, didn't even know :yeshrug: it's like the wta is dead to me after the USO.

Anyway, Serena is 3-0 and facing Radwanska in the semis. Azarenka vs Sharapova (will be a good one) in the other semi.

8am and 10am EST

there's one more men's masters next week, the tour championships the week after, and davis cup final (czechs vs spanish) 10 days after

I haven't been able to keep up with it at all. Looks like Sharapova actually beat Azarenka this time:ohhh:

8 years. 8 years without beating Serena again
and when you factor the manner in which she beat serena at wimbledon 04 (ailing player fresh off a year long hiatus) it really tells you just how flukey that win was..Glad to see serena show these kids how its done but the forecast doesnt look too good for the WTA.Sharpova is just not a competitor and azeranka/wazniaki and co are all a wash that sort of blend into this mix of inconsistent/mediocre players..

Anyway you slice it once serena retires the best player on tour is going to be the person that "sucks" the least. And thats not a good look

Damn, Can't believe that I missed the Serena/Maria match.

Serena must hunt Maria in her sleep. :damn:

I don't think it's early enough to say that about Azeranka just yet. Yeah she lost to Serena at the US Open, but not many people would have beat Serena on their best day. If she can string together another quality season whether that be winning or just meeting the finals for some of the big name events, I think it would be air to say she is legit. Sharapova was just all hype. I don't think she has any chance of getting better at this point. Wazniakia will NEVER be a top contender. Not while Serena is around and probably not even when she retires

Its not really the usopen defeat or her performances against serena i am talking about. Its stuff like yesterday where she loses to ppl she should beat like sharpova..The way she was handed a trophy and no 1 status after losing back to back (to the finalists) just reminded me a lot of the myskina years

good post. i have to say of all the top players only azarenka is worthy to be mentioned in the same sentence as serena (not that she is close to #1 though)

I just tuned in and it looks like Joker and the umpire have been arguing the entire time? Anyone know why?
