Believe me, a couple years after she retires and we don't have ANY Americans winning they are going to miss her. Only person we have on the woman's side is Sloans Stephens. Only people we have on the mens side is Querrey and Isner(Roddikk 2.0), correct me if I'm wrong here, but we are going to be without any champions for a minute. Sock and Harrison MIGHT have some upside but only time will tell. Any prospects I'm missing?
sounds about right

and tbh, if it werent for Venus and Serena this would be a decade-plus nadir because those are the only two great players American tennis has had since Sampras/Agassi generation started to fall off.

Don't call Isner Roddikk 2.0, Roddikk at least had a dominant ground game for the 1st half of his career. Isner can barely win rallies at his peak

They need a roof. This game is :flabbynsick:
no way, outdoor conditions are natural. indoor conditions are artificial, federer ate off the roof all wimbledon long

So you'd rather have a game like this where the wind is clearly having more influence over the game than the players? The ideal enviornment, and the ideal even playing field is when the weather has no influence whether positive or negative against the players. If you need a roof to achieve that :manny:

roof only for rain. and weather is a challenge for everyone, let's see who can adapt best here? seems like the wind isnt so bad now either

That was some bullshyt with Berdych bytching about the hat, dude wasn't near the drop shot and didn't stop running until after he knew he wasn't making it. THEN he talks about the hat. Murray should've told him to fukk off, really.

 at Murray calling the hat nonsense and throwing it away though.

such entertaining tennis in this natural setting. 77 mph serves...waiting 30 secs in between serves to let the wind die down... being interrupted by flying objects, and equipment tumbling over. Yea man, fukk a roof.:pacspit:

for god's sake get a gatdamn roof :why:
