smh I know love is trash on defense, but tonight he was god awful. Love's post d is :gag: The way Pau was dominating him on the block made it look like Pau could drop 100 points on him with ease. Love is cool, but this fool needs to stop talking shyt and step his shyt up. The dude is playing like the worst player on the roster. And the fukk is Coack K doing not giving Davis any PT? I know he is a rook, but this dude can fukkin' ball and is sorely needed with the lack of size on the roster and the dude can play all 5 positions, so why not give him more minutes?

There's really nothing Love can do about that. He is awful against bigger players defensively unless it's on help D where he's gotten better. If they thought Love was gonna be able to hold his own there, the joke's on Coach K.

Personally, Love's role on the team is way overblown. He's not the difference between a win and a loss for them. Any possible replacement wouldn't be the difference between winning a losing. In fact, if it comes down to actually relying on Love to lead at any point, that's a failure on the basketball team. But he's good. Him being on the team should prove that. Whether he's built for international comp or not we'll see. The Olympics haven't started yet so we'll see what he does.

That being said, Love should really keep his mouth shut, do what Coach K asks, not get hurt, and be the greatness that surrounds greatness come next season (Rubio :hmm:)

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
AD needs to play more, period. Hell, he can be brought in to spell Chandler or whomever is playing C, but he can definitely help this team. He's a way better shot blocker than any player on the roster. He's a natural at it. Coach K came in with these preconceived notions and instead of being flexible, he's being stubborn. I don't think it will matter much in the long run. However, I still dislike K.

Yea he is dope, but mann today's game was his worst. It seems like Love doesn't know his role on the squad really. Everyone is shooting 3's, except he hardly gets the ball and is just the hustle and dirty player on the team getting the rebounds. But, naw of course he is good, but he needs to get it together ASAP. Here is this quote from yesterday:

Via Chris Sheridan, SherdianHoops.com:
That advice is based on solid intel, because the powers that be at USA Basketball are not happy that the Kevin Love they came to appreciate two years ago in Turkey has somehow morphed into a Kevin Love who didn’t even leave his feet Sunday night when he got outworked for a rebound by Andres Nocioni in Team USA’s closer-that-it-should-have-been 86-80 victory over Argentina. .... So if Love finds himself getting muscled by Serge Ibaka or Marc Gasol or Pau Gasol tomorrow night when the United States plays Spain in its final (and toughest) exhibition game, a little irrational exuberance might not be called for — but it’d be a welcome sight to those in the U.S. federation who believe Love has gone soft, too soft to be useful.

But, he don't gotta worry, the TRUE leader and the number 1 option Rubio comes back and can land the Wolves into the playoffs for the 1st time since KG's MVP season. Even Rubio is getting at him earlier today:
@rickyrubio9: @kevinlove are u ready to lose against Spain tonight?
