Which is totally bullshyt. What a shyt move by SF. When I copped SF5 and I was like :wtf: You have to unlock some of these characters like Guile that already in game for $5 dollar? or If you wish to unlock every character with Fight Money that it's basically impossible. SF5 doing too much, worse than any fighting games.

They were giving out fight money like candy the first year of SF5. You could have bought every season 1 dlc and some season 2 just by doing the story modes and trials for each character.

That's how I ended up unlocking the 1st season for free, just knocked out the trials and did the survival mode. Actually made me learn characters I was even planning on learning.

This is why SF5 is my least favorite street fighter game. I spent countless hours on SF4 and played SF5 for maybe a month or so. Having to unlock characters by playing through these bullshyt ass story modes is horrible. I'm waiting for these nikkas to start releasing moves as DLC next smh

Training stage was always banned in sf5:russ:

As was cleared up earlier, that training stage was banned at majors never really occurred to me because I don't watch sf5 majors, I tend(ed) to stick to NLBC and watching Brian F/Smug/Punk play online, where there was a ton of training stage usage. I must have conflated that with the beach stage and whatever else (stage-wise) caused a stir for not being viable, which is something that absolutely baffles me from a development and marketing standpoint. Thanks for the correction! This game still looks weird to me, but I will nevertheless try it out.

Yea your watching habits makes it clearer

When you watch pros you're gonna see a lot of training stage, especially if they play online

Nobody WANTS to look at training stage, which is why Capcom banned it in tournament, but the beautiful stages tend to lag more

Capcom out here saving the FGC once again
It looks this time like Capcom is finally understanding their role and power in the greater fighting game genre

Everything moves based on how Street Fighter performs and lives. Their mishandling of SF5 and the fallout woke them nikkas up

Absolutely. I haven't seen this amount of love put into Street fighter in a LONG time. The difference between SF6 and SF5 is like night and day. Capcom comin back for the crown

It's a matter of big Capcom finally listening to little Capcom

I know I'm in the minority with my love for SF5 but there's a lot of love in the designs/mechanics of those characters. The larger problem is Capcom always kept the fighting game side to the left while they focused on the big money makers like Monster Hunter and Resident Evil

After firing Ono and creating an actual dedicated fighting game division halfway through SF5 you can see the difference and that these nikkas have resources and a budget now:russ:

Japan is bad at paying attention to things outside of their immediate view and I don't think Capcom understood the amount of cultural impact and love Street Fighter has in the US. But they clearly understand now
