I feel you, but iv'e played in many tournaments and the scene is cold breh.
People would pick Cody's worst match up even if they barely know how to play with them. Just simple bnb's and mix ups that my character can barely do shyt about.
Learning another character can also help you with the match up. Lets say you have trouble against Ken, if you learn how to play with him you'll realize his step kick range is where you always want to be. You can now incorporate that knowledge into your game when you play against him, and stay right outside of that range.
This is pretty much the only reason why I learned to play with other characters.

Yeah but if they don't really know how to play the character you should be able to overcome the character itself. It's not like Cody has any real nightmare-type matchups.
If your decent with Akuma, Seth, Ken, Rufus, Cammy, or any of the twins you can have loads of fun fighting Cody.
Cody has no real wake up options, one hard knock down can equal the round if your playing smart.
His ex tornado is only grab invincible...
His sand attack is barely decent, it can be easily read, which can lead to another knock down...
Cody needs 3 bars to ex bingo and make it safe...
Then again, its not even freaking safe because most of the cast can option select him on wake up
In no way am I saying Cody's bad, dude has some of the best normals, frame traps, damage output in the game.
Some characters just have the upper hand against him cause of dive kicks, vortex, great tic throws, etc

Cody doesn't have anything worse than a 6-4 and he hits hard as hell. If someone's just trying to go nuts with a character they don't use, you only need 2-3 openings tops and they're dead.

nope only ex bingo is invincible
