Pre-ordered from Amazon on 8/22, still not shipped. Reached out to support, and mine is (allegedly) getting delivered on the 11th. Apparently a lot of people in my situation are getting that or the 10th.
Yeah, seems pretty universal that people who pre-ordered from Walmart on 8/25 received/are receiving their units before those who pre-ordered on 8/22. A lot of people think that's fukked up, I don't cause they're both pre-orders regardless of when they're made, and all should've been ready to have been delivered on launched day. Walmart handled this situation awful all around. They never did anything about the original rush of pre-orders that went up a month early. Just cancelled all the orders and gave a weak apology

Amazon is worse, cause all I've heard is they have yet to fulfill any pre-orders.

Again, I'll always advocate for Best Buy when it comes to video games. GCU is amazing and they have always come through with launch day delivery for me outside one time recently during the hurricane.

Anyway, I'm almost done with Mega Man X. I had to look up a couple of armor locations, I'm kind of embarrassed.
The Haoduken is cool but none of the bosses stay still long enough to get hit so what's the fukking use.

You got one? :gladbron:

The more I see people able to get one the more I :stylin: on scalpers having to drop prices cause this shyt is not that rate

And that's just the first shipment

Yeah dude and it was such a fluke, after my Walmart order got canceled. And I missed all the other preorders, I figured I would just... :mjlol: Trust Nintendo, that this won’t be a shyt show like the NES Classic. My girl happen to take off that day and offered to stand in line to cop. I told her nah, I’m going to trust the process, enjoy your day off. She woke up at midnight to see if any sites were selling again. They weren’t and again a few hours later. She wanted to surprise me.

I woke up for work the next day, and she asked if I was sure, she didn’t mind going to wait in line. Again I’m like I’m good. Go to the bathroom to take a shyt and went to Wario64 twitter, he posted ThinkGeek had their site up 4 hours ago. I clicked the link expecting a :stopitslime: nikka please, you know better. shyt was there, added to my cart and used my PayPal information. Got the confirmation email shortly after! :russ:

Went RIGHT back to the website and it was sold out.

Lucky and Fluke as shyt!

DKC update: made it to the second mine cart level. I think I'm pretty close to the end

If I played this as a kid, I can only imagine the sense of accomplishment beating this game :wow:

As an adult....the amount of times I've use save points is shameful :mjcry:.

It's a fun game, but the hit detection seems a little off and the controls aren't that crisp. Especially in the water levels. F*** the water levels :damn:

I plan on watching bits of a walkthrough after I beat it to see how I could have played it a little more efficiently.

I've trying to get 100% (as a kid I think I recall it being 101%, but whatever) without any guides. But I caved. On the Vine Valley, the forest world. The level Orang-utan Gang had me tripping, shyt had like 5 bonus levels and I could find the 5th one! shyt was underneath the beginning of the level. Had to flutter down there with the damn bird that you get halfway through the level.

Anyway, how are the graphics holding up for you. I first plugged the SNES Classic into my 52" screen, and was like oh HELL nah :scust:

Plugged it into my PC Monitor which is a 24" screen and was like :ehh: I can work with this. Plus I don't have to worry about the cord.

To me it looks more accurate with the scan lines and the old tube tv speaker border. The scan lines hide the jaggies and seems more reminiscent of how I remember the games looking.

Wait...what??? Breh....I might have to try and get 100% now :wow: I never would have thought to do that. This being my first play through I wasn't 100% sure just how far they'd go to hide bonus. Is the bonus level indicated in the game or through a guide?

I don't mind the graphics too much...playing on a 50". It is definitely pixilated but the colors and backgrounds are pretty cool. Might try the monitor thing as well. Is there any lag?

They definitely could have extended the cord by a couple feet...have to basically play on the floor the whole time

All I know is that when I beat a level and get every bonus and KONG, the level name now has an exclamation mark behind the title. Does that make sense? So once I beat the level for the first time, if the exclamation mark isn't there, I try it again for 100% (or 101%) completion, and looking in places I didn't go before. Honestly I remember most of this when I was 7 years old :pachaha:

I just used the game guide when I was on that level for 25 mins looking everywhere for the damn bonus level. And I just looked again, most levels have 2 bonus stages, this the only stage that had 5 bonuses. Crazy!
