They need FCC approval before they can start pre-orders. It takes time. It's the same reason the Xbox One X has yet to go up for pre-order as well. It sucks but I imagine there will be an announcement for a time and date when pre-orders go up rather than just as soon as they get approval.

he wanted NO parts of that shyt!!
one day he might have an appreciation for it.
the 8 bit graphics are timeless to me. if you actually look at ninja gaiden in motion it looks an animated painting come to life. and that game is one of the most beautiful on the entire NES.
i know it's easy to say this looks prehistoric now but when i was 6 this was fukking mindbending.
it's amazing because the more photorealistic the graphics get the less imaginitive they become.
also fukk the OG ninja gaiden is so much fun!! a kid could pick up and play within seconds and get hooked!
