I can't wait to see this...been checking all the predictions from all the legends that matter and the intangibles lined up to see where there is frailty in one's game but this is it. This is a true main event match where the best is facing the best and someone's perfect will be GONE in over 24 hours from this post. Been a long time coming and even though I got Ward winning, if Sergay does find a way to get this done, he will be the absolute best in the game.

Breh u been a low key boxing fan, I know your a og poster but rarely seen u post in the ring but for the past year u been here often.. A good thing.

They don't get held 'accountable' when their predictions are wrong. So they're feeling froggy and make the bold Krusher pick :yeshrug:

It's Rigo vs Donaire part two if you know boxing. People actually think Kovalev's (albeit good) hand and foot feints are going to confuse Ward, and leave him to get hit by Kovalevs lead right....over and over to the point he could actually lose the fight :heh:

Also all those people who said Kov's the bigger guy, Ward won't be able to clinch him........doesn't seem to be the case.
I think part of the reason is most writers (Rafael, Kim, and Fischer especially) love to cover action fighters and typically "promote" action fighters more. When they get philosophical and reflective they are smart enough to know that usually boxers beat punchers, but people get amped over punchers and expect them to demolish great boxers.

Finally got around to watch the wiegh in... Ward doesn't look lean at all, he gained too much weight during the time he was not active. Will this be a factor? Who knows but just a simple observation.
Lol, you're trying way too hard breh, physically Ward looks in phenomenal shape. We get it, your riding with Kov, but cut the boolshyt.

I was talking to some customers of mine who are boxing fans and one of them is going to be buying the fight and :francis:.

They tried to tell me:
- Kovalev's resume is better than Ward's. :dahell:
- I said Ward's resume is one of the better ones actively in boxing. They said don't get too far ahead of yourself. :dahell::dahell:
- Told them that physically Ward would look better because Kovalev has a bit of a soft look. They thought Ward was the one usually soft and Kovalev was ripped. :dahell::dahell::dahell:
- They were totally gassed by Kovalev's KO% and thought Ward's power was garbage (that most his KO's came early in his career vs. bums) and it would be hard to hurt Kovalev who has a great chin. :dahell::dahell::dahell::dahell:

Now I agreed with them that it is fair to consider this a near 50/50 fight and both fighters are great, but how easily they dismissed Ward was :patrice:.
I'll give one of them credit, he said if the fight was 4 years ago he thought Ward would have won easily, but after his inactivity he was predicting Kovalev.

Thank God for The Ring brehs. :blessed:

I thought he looked great. I can't imagine him loosing more weight than that.

Only time I seen him get truly dirty was against Bika. But Bika kinda forced his hand with a bunch of dirty shyt himself.

Bika is a godforsaken opponent to watch/fight....dude so dirty, reckless looping....just brutal on the eyes.
