If you watched the game Russ came out looking to pass since Kawhi was “back”.
Soon as he started to defer to a clearly distracted Kawhi the team started playing the same way instead of how they looked the other night.
The 7 turnovers in 2nd quarter were just peak confusion and then it seems like they didn’t know Kawhi wasn’t going to come back for the second half, more confusion.
If Kawhi is outta sorts for some personal reason you can’t have Russ playing pass first out the gate.

Why don't you explain why every game of this series was close despite Russ missing his 2 best teammates?

Then he got to be the man on a team where the two superstars are sitting out. he's STILL 6th man just moved up the roster.
We've seen this story time and time again. Russ is the thirsty mid at the end of the night willing to do anything. They only look good because the bad bytches went home early. They still a good time. But it's not what you wanted and it won't get you to where you want to be.
