A lot of yall nikkas was talking mad shyt about Russ after he was traded from the Lakers. How he's toxic, and doesn't contribute to winning basketball. How he's gonna SABOTAGE any team he's on.

Well, after his first game with the Clippers where they put up 175 in 2OTs with minimal team chemistry, Russ may be primed for a huge redemption arc.

All the nikkas that said Russ was trash, wouldnt fit the Clippers, or anywhere for that matter (Bron Stans), get in here and apologize before it's too late.

Cuz imma call ALL YOU NIKKAS OUT.

4-5 of those turnovers were due to teammates dropping the passes.

But that can be fixed by improving chemistry.

There isn't an apology to be given. He didn't fit on the Lakers and trading Kuzma and KCP for him is the reason why the Lakers were garbage last season and through the All Star break of this one. If the Clippers go to the Finals and win, that's the only way Westbrook gets an apology. Not because of a 17 point game that his new team LOST.

I hope he does well.. I like Russ, but as a player I've seen way too much of his negatives to ever want him on my team

They scored 175 but Fox and Monk each scored 40+ against a backcourt which he was a part of.. his flaws in off ball defense came right to the forefront when he lost Monk on last play of regulation, and the offense was made even harder cause of the spacing he lacks.

It might work out.... And only because he's a literal vet min player at this point.

Thought it was goofy to celebrate Brons individual successes when his team was losing every game. So, I'm definitely not going to celebrate a mediocre game from Russ in a loss like it's some kind of achievement. At the end of the day only wins and losses matter; russ, pg, and the russ stan coalition acting as if this was some kind of vindication or validation that the rest of the lakers were the problem is bs.
