Didn't Saban and Harbaugh throw shots at each other a couple of years ago

In the 2020 citrus bowl Saban purposefully ran Najee Harris extra, including a garbage time TD, just to flex on harbaugh since that was a very major recruiting battle when Harbaugh first got hired. Beef started when Harbaugh was running camps in the south.

I remember when I was working with a patient that was a former Michigan analyst that was a high school coach in Prattville, AL. He left after the 2018 season to go back to coaching in Prattville I think. He said that Don Brown called him before the Citrus Bowl game to get some tips on playing Bama. The main thing he told him was not to let their receivers beat them deep...and the first thing Bama did when they got the ball was hit Jeudy for a deep TD.

Side note: That same analyst had a hand in setting up those satellite camps down South. He said Saban was pissed, and ended up calling him into his office with Kirby Smart to see wtf was going on.

Michigan does not have the better defense, they didn’t play a good offense all year. Bama has the best pass rush in the country and 2 NFL corners

Texas beat them decisively, they struggled with UCF and Auburn should've won if not for a miracle play and they would not even be in the playoff even if they beat georgia. Michigan will have a chip on their shoulder because not a lot of people outside of the fanbase will pick them amongst other things and they will prevail.
