So many nikkas be shytting on GGG but I'm seeing him on top 10 p4p lists. I'm still trying to recall the top fighter in his division that he beat to get that spot.

Canelo just started fighting good contenders, and has struggle wins over them where most people think could have gone either way, but yet cats got him top ten p4p.

I was just trying to see why Stevenson was held to a different standard since he's fought and KO'ed the champ as well as contenders (something neither GGG/Canelo have done recently) but isn't top ten worthy according to a lot of these lists.

No one has been able to answer that yet or admit that they just happen to like Canelo or GGG more than Stevenson which would explain their lists.

Speaking for myself, GGG is on my Top 10 list because he's dominated every single opponent he's ever stepped into the ring with. We already KNOW he's the best 160 fighter.....and we cant say the same for Stevenson.


Yes, he beat Chad Dawson, who was coming off an embarrassing loss to Andre Ward, and was 2-2 (1 NC) over his last 5 fights. Not exactly a strong run to be beating our chests about to be calling him "The Champ"


Then, Stevenson just struggled HEAVILY against Fonfara in a showcase fight to follow it up


GGG doesnt struggle against opponents like that and will most likely beat Daniel Geale via KO as normal



On a P4P list where you take into major consideration their most recent fights, Im gonna take the consensus #1 Middleweight (who has never looked anything less than dominant in every fight) and put him a my #9 spot as well as Mikey Garcia at my #10 spot over a fighter who beat Chad Dawson (who was just embarrassed in his prior bout), Tarvoris Cloud (who was ALSO coming off a loss to B-Hop), Tony Bellow (), and struggled against Fonfara () and has not even proven to be the best in his division yet while they are without a doubt the best in their respective division.

I can respect that view, but would respect it even more if Canelo would have actually dominated dude instead of winning by the skin of his teeth just like in the Trout fight.

I'd also disagree with your meaning of the word struggled HEAVILY, since Stevenson was the clear winner against Fonfara whereas guys like Lara did worse against Molina, but he's supposed to be such a skilled fighter.

He's an enigma, he destroyed Austin Trout and struggled with Vanes


He looked better against Canelo than he did with Molina
