Aretha Franklin's Funeral Service Will Be Broadcast on SiriusXM

SiriusXM announced Wednesday (Aug. 29) that Soul Town (channel 49) will broadcast
Aretha Franklin's funeral in its entirety on the new Aretha Franklin Tribute Channel. The service on Friday at 10 a.m. ET will feature performances by Stevie Wonder, Ariana Grande and more.

Faith Hill,
Chaka Khan, Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson are also set to perform, along with Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, the Clark Sisters and Jennifer Holliday. Following the service, the Aretha Franklin Tribute Channel will answer calls from fans across the country who'd like to share memories and pay their respects to the late Queen of Soul.

The new tribute channel launched on Aug. 16 -- the day Franklin died at age 76 following a battle with pancreatic cancer -- to commemorate Franklin by playing music from her iconic career, taking live listener calls and airing archival interviews and tributes from fellow artists and fans.
