Bernie now within 6 points in NY according to Gravis Poll
I heard this poll was conducted April 5-6th and that Bernie Sanders was emailing his supporters the results. That doesn't bold well for him at all going into Tuesday if he has to email old polls when 10 polls have been taken since then all of them being at least +10 for Hillary.

Also, the poll is overestimating the white share which is at 74%....that'll be more like 50-55% at most. Blacks make up 15% of the state, and even more of the Dem electorate since they bloc vote 90%+ for dems yet only 12% black share are represented in this poll. Hispanic only 9%, but will likely make up around 15-20%.

So yes, the poll is very favorable to Sanders because of the demographics being represented on the poll which is not represented based on the electorate that will vote on Tuesday.

In other words, Sanders is screwed as the poll is overestimating the white share and underestimating the minority share which will go about 65-35 in her favor, possibly more.

Polls are usually weighted for different outliers.

She really asked "is it working?" :scusthov:
Its the best part of electioneering in a functioning democracy
Getting the high and mighty to come down here and act like they give a fukk :pachaha:
For a split second the playing field is levelled:blessed:
Then we can get back to our hard knock lives and they with whatever they do up there
But we'll be seeing yall in 4 years
Former first lady and junior Senator of the great state of New York and Secretary of State trying to relate to 'cake soap' Charlamagne :banderas:

that's says nothing at all in the context you are using it, in fact it may reflect the kind of disenchantment that leads to uprisings and it's likely much less than 40% care about "politics" (in the current form which it is presented). But I guarantee you that 100% of them care about their welfare and that of their progeny and when there is such a disconnect between politics and human welfare, then the politicians should worry, because then they are useless.

I agrees with this in theory, but it falls apart in practice.

Only 42% of eligible voters turned out for the last midterm elections.

"The BGOV Barometer shows that 90 percent of House members and 91 percent of senators who sought re-election in 2012 were successful, exceeding the incumbent re-election rates of 2010, when 85 percent of House members and 84 percent of senators seeking re-election were successful."

The House & Senate have historically high disapproval ratings and yet, voters at the local level are not taking any significant action to replace them. How much can someone possibly care if they don't even perform the most basic of civic duties?
