I love this area, its basically the best place to live in Tdot of your young and into the arts/culture. Lots of galleries, independent coffee shops, vintage stores, fashion, bars ect and its only getting better. If i were you I would have tried to get a loft in the area, thats what im looking for. I grew up pretty close to Forest Hill, st Clair and Spadina area. Small world.

I'm excited. I'm not a clubber or anything, but there are great little spots around there for lounging/chillin' with friends. 2015 can't come soon enough *sigh* Yah it is a small world...I'm at Bathurst/Eglinton...it's boring there...thank god I have a car, but now they're working on the new LRT so that should make downtown more accessible.

I know exactly what building your talking about, right at the corner, congrats! . I meant like a hard loft (converted from a factory kinda thing) there are bunch of these in the neighbourhood. Im looking for one to making into a home/photo studio. No clubs around here really except wrong bar lol. But if you like dancing there are cool places like Bambies in the neighbourhood....its always fun. Kareoke every thursday haha. Ever since I moved downtown a few years back im never in the old neighborhood. I love how Eglington is hood until you get to the station then its all posh ahaha. I used to get my hair cut over there but its too much of a hastle go uptown every week.

Yep - that's the one, and thanks! A hard loft would make for a beautiful photo studio. I'm karaoke Queen...gonna be all up at the Gladstone's Melody Bar, just watch haha we go to Parkdale Drink sometimes and Nyood. Yah - as soon as you pass Allen Road you're either in the Jungle or one of the richest neighbourhoods. Uptown is okay, but I've always liked a little closer to downtown. I used to live at Queens Quay and Spadina before moving to Forest Hill - I loved being close to the water, but the rent was too high and I wanted something less expensive so that I had more of an opportunity to save for a down payment.
