@Regular_P if you haven't played VR before there are some important things you should know.
Every person will react different to each game. Motion sickness will play a factor but I can't say which game will and which game won't.
My brother has used PSVR quite a bit as has never gotten the least bit of motion sickness.
I have able able to play RE7 for a little over an hour before feeling motion sick.
If you find yourself feeling even slightly sick, stop immediately and take a break for a few hours. If you try to force your way through motion sickness you will be feeling it for several hours later and it's not a pleasant feeling at all. I learned this the hard way.
Make sure you put the headset on correctly and are able to see the image as clearly as possible before starting your session.
Camera positioning may have to be changed a little depending on the game. Batman Arkham VR specifically required me to adjust the camera lower than any other game to be able to play it and enjoy it.
I think I have the most games for PSVR and the most experience with it on this board so if you have any questions about it let me know.

I'm actually gonna have to respectfully disagree about your motion sickness strategy. When I first got my Rift and Vive (they came out before the PSVR, but are essentially the same thing). I powered through the sickness and actually wanted to feel sick, so I could get used to it. After about 1-2 weeks the sickness finally stopped, even for the most motion sickness games out there, like Adrift).

I took the "baptism by fire" approach and it worked well. Nothing makes me sick. I actually prefer locomotion walking, instead of teleporting in games. I want the full experience).

That's just me though, so ymmv.

You are right about feeling sick for hours after the headset is off. You just gotta adjust your brain.

I am an extremist though. I did baptism by fire in Phoenix with the 115 degree heat. I forced myself to stay outside for a couple of hours a day, before it became tolerable. After that I could walk to work and school with a black t-shirt on and jeans and I was able to ride my Ninja in the outrageous heat.

I like to push it hard early, so it's better in a week or two

I believe you, but like I said, I've had different people try the psvr and have heard a wide range of reviews of their experience and I can't pin down what made people feel sick. Some people can go hours like nothing. For me I found my limit in SOME games is an hour and a half, and some I was only able to play 5 minutes.
I just think it's important to set a realistic expectation of vr because the complaints I've seen most are about motion sickness and the length and amount of content of vr games vs traditional games.
You put it perfectly once and it's the way I define vr now. VR isn't a replacement for traditional gaming, it's a seperate platform.

Megaton Rainfall is about to be so real. This has been my most hyped game since I saw this video early last year.

EVE: Valkyrie free expansion ‘Warzone’ announced, adds non-VR and cross-platform support
posted on 08.15.17 at 11:09 AM EDT by Sal Romano (@salromano)
announced a free “Warzone” expansion coming to EVE: Valkyrieon September 26 that enables both the ability to play without a virtual reality headset, and cross-platform play between PlayStation 4 and PC.

EVE: Valkyrie – Warzone will replace the base game. While all current users will receive the game as a free download, it can be purchased by new players for $29.99.

The expansion will also include:

  • Ship Improvements – Each ship within a class will have a more distinctive role to play in battle and all ships will be available from the first time a pilot enters the Clone Vat. This new, open hangar will allow pilots to experiment and find the ships that best fit their playstyle within a few matches.
  • New Weapons and Ultra Abilities – There will be new weapons and abilities to inflict upon each other, including powerful ship-specific Ultra abilities that, when timed correctly, can turn the course of battle. Ultras facilitate a deeper combat experience, being fueled by the performance of you and your team.
  • Modular Progression System – Pilots will be able to explore a new modular progression system that introduces multiple new modifications for each ship. With unique abilities and meaningful upgrade paths for each ship, you’ll have more control over how you evolve and customise your fleet.
  • “Extraction” Game Mode – A “Capture the Flag”-esque game mode that mixes combat and navigational challenge in new and exciting ways, encouraging pilots to use the environment to their advantage. Most importantly though, it makes team-play – and team-tactics – a key component of success.
  • Two new maps
    • “Fleet” – A Sisters of EVE space station.
    • “Outpost” – A mysterious Drifter base.
  • New Wormholes – Each week there will be new wormholes to fight for, where reality will twist to offer a unique gaming experience.
  • New Rewards System – In Warzone, we’ve simplified EVE: Valkyrie’s previously complex in-game economy with the removal of Gold and the reduction of surplus Silver. You’ll earn XP per ship and use only XP to craft a Modification for that ship, which is far easier to follow. Salvage picked up during a battle by you or your team now has a more immediate effect by fuelling your ship’s Ultra gauge. You can also fight over Spoils of War to earn Reward Capsules, enabling you to unlock a hangar-full of personalization options for your ships and pilot. Each item rewarded is categorised as Common, Rare or Epic to convey its sense of worth and desirability, plus a random element ensures that the content of each capsule remains a surprise.

I tried this and the sickness stayed with me for 3 days, atleast.I just can't do it for more than 30 minutes.
