I have an oculus quest...had it for a couple weeks now but it’s “impossible” to play most games sitting around since they require so much movement and it helps that you’re not tethered to a wire

I was reading some reviews about blood and truth and a lot of ppl recommended playing it sitting down so that was actually a relief cuz I don’t wanna do too much moving around since the PSVR is wired...that was my main reason for asking

I have the superhot demo for the quest...shyt is dope...I ordered the PSVR earlier today...got blood and truth...astro bot and fire zero something lol

The vast majority of psvr games can be played sitting down. And it's the most stationary of all the high end VR headsets. With FZH you should try to find an aim controller, it makes it so crazy. Also get fairpoint after getting that controller. PSVR has really dope games and has offered me some of my favorite games of all time with RE7, Astrobot, Blood and truth, Firewall and Farpoint with the aim controller, and GT sport with a racing wheel.

I feel you, I bought PSVR at launch so when I bought RE7 I had to play but on VR as there were barely any games and I just paid $400 for my new VR set. But I'm glad I did, nothing has scared me in media or real life as much as RE7 did and eventually you get so many weapons so that even though you are scared you feel secure. The only game that gave me real life character development.

Also get Farpoint breh, the CO OP is fun and it's a cool sci fi story that is extremely enhanced in VR

Anyone else have Beat Saber? This game is great but I keep having an issue with the left saber not properly tracking.

I googled it and it seems to be a common problem. Any fixes?

where’d you order it from...bundle or just the headset?

setting mine up now...5 extra wires (not including the camera) plus the processor box...I thought I’d just have to plug the headset into the PS4 lol smh

Do yall think Sony can make VR a "thing" Like make the masses want one. I feel like PSVR has better VR games than RIFT and VIVE despite their headsets being able to do more and have better graphics. Games like RE 7, Blood and truth everybody golfs and borderlands are really good and are complete games. I think VR is the next wave but its going to take somebody like Sony to make it cool

@ the end of the day it boils down to games...I have the quest and just got the PSVR...but right now there are only 5 games tops I wanna play for each system...sony can learn from the quest by trying to make it a stand-alone unit or @ least make it so there are less wires you gotta connect to use it...also try to eliminate having to use the camera...again they can take a cue from the quest in that respect...ultimately games games games are what will sell VR to the public...even if they are not dedicated games make them compatible w/ VR...sony already has some games like this that are for the main console but work w/ PSVR as well...the immersive experience is insane...I keep using that word to describe it but it’s the best shyt to summarize it...you feel like you are in the game

The toughest part of VR is that for it to be marketed effectively it needs to be explained...but effective marketing shouldn’t require an explanation.
VR has to be experienced to be appreciated and the price points don’t sit in the “experimental range” for most people’s budgets.
No wires would be great but it isn’t a big chore like people would have you believe at times.
It’s literally 2 wires fused together as one anyway.
VR won’t take off until they get the price point down to a more acceptable risk level.

just played some more astro bot and was thinking if there was a mario VR game it’d be a fukking wrap...nintendo could absolutely make VR hot if they ditched the cardboard bullshyt and made a serious foray into VR...they’re always a gen behind w/ tech as of late so it doesn’t even have to compete w/ oculus...just something that rivals the PSVR coupled w/ a mario or zelda VR game...or metroid?! shiiit
