As with anything, once you open Pandora's Box and people give companies a reason to accept it and do it, it will continue.

- paying for online (you know who started this....)
- DLC (you know who started this because they chose to use regular dvds and everything couldn't fit....)
- mid gen refreshes (once again you know who.....)
