This is the goofiest thing I've seen this generation. People saying that there's no games or that they could have played it on their PS4. There are a ton of games out and my backlog is ridiculous. People whined and complained about backwards compatibility so they made the PS5 on the same architecture to keep it simple and the PS6 will likely be on it as well too. So that means that there will always be developers making games for the lowest common denominator especially if it has the largest install base. It's a business lol. I barely have time to even play with life and adulting so I don't know how people are just knocking games out left and right like that unless they're young or they don't do anything productive with their lives. I want to play that new assassin's creed but it's going to be at least 3-4 months because I have other stuff I have to beat lol. But it's such a negative and pessimistic viewpoint around gaming now thats so weird.

At this point its just nikkas announcing they are casuals and waiting for GTA6. Almost every major game for the past two years has been current gen only

This is on top of every upcoming major game this year. I can’t think of any that are cross-gen. The only games that are still actively being made for previous generation systems are COD and Sports games, and the latter are just getting roster updates.
