I'm thinking about trading in my PS5 on for the PS5 Pro. :patrice:

I might include my Xbox Series X. I barely play it after I built my new gaming PC.:patrice:

Sounds like a solid plan. I’ve found myself not needing a bunch of hardware this gen, especially if you already got a pc.

For me the ps5 is enough, and i might get a switch 2 down the road but its prob not a day one for me

I'm going to have to see the hardware specs on the Switch 2 before I buy it.

If it's barely an improvement over the original Switch, I will pass on it.

Yeah, and it needs compelling software and online features. Im not rushing out to buy it for just another 3d mario or splatoon 4.

They need a generation defining BoTW type experience to get me excited again

Was it difficult to move your saves from games on your PS5 to PS5 Pro?

Nah. I had mine in my SSD, installed it on my Pro, and everything was there when I completed setup.

Worst case scenario, assuming you've got PS Plus, your saves are automatically backed up online. You can pull your saves down whenever.

Alternately, if you don't want to do either of those, in the initial setup, it gives you an option to transfer all your data from the internal drive of another PlayStation on the same network. Just have both on, plugged in, and whatnot, and let the Pro do its thing. It takes what feels like forever, but it's an option.

I got a decent amount of hardware myself. Ps5, Series X, and Psvr2. I think the Steam deck will be my next purchase. I thought about the PS Portal, but you will always need an internet connection which to me is a hassle especially on a plane. And besides, I'll then have access to PC games. Only thing missing is the dual sense capabilities

PC, Ps5, Steam deck is the best combo.
