Some bad news brehs. Per Japanese Bloomberg: chip production issues will lead to an estimated 11 million PS5s made by March 2021, rather than the hoped for 15 million (basically drop of 4 million).

They were being too aggressive with the 15m number. 11m is still much more than the PS4. The talk of $399/$449 is also good. If that pans out then...

If you miss out on the PS5 at launch watch it be impossible to get one next year due to
1) production problems
2) too much demand
3) everyone stuck inside most likely next year so that will drive 2)
and everyone will want to be playing next gen games w/ almost no load times while they're stuck inside
4) COVID making it worse
I should be able to secure a PS5 at launch...right?
If I don't get one I know in my gut my prediction of the PS5 being IMPOSSIBLE to buy in 2021 will come true
If I can't get a disc PS5 and the DE is available...I might have to preorder it for security
