Yeah, I'm surprised people just now knowing. It's an old ass feature. shyt was annoying to me with the ps4 coming on everytime I turn the TV on. I ain't even know ps3s did until I bought the superslim a few years back, the fat ones ain't do it.It works. Don't need to buy a PS remote
