I rebuilt the database, didn't take too long. It's not giving me the black screen after a few minutes like before, but the quality is still pixelated, and it wasn't like that before I ran into issues.

Stream Quality in the Twitch Dashboard says it's 'acceptable'
:francis:

And saying this here:
  • Max keyframe interval is currently at 19.503 seconds. Please set it to 2 seconds.
  • The broadcast is not set to constant bitrate (CBR). [Current average: 805 kbps, current max: 1692.8943863 kbps]
:smh:

Hopefully Sony doesn't gimp the network card and cap shyt like this on the Pro

Doesn't the PS4 stream to Youtube?? Is the problem happening there too?

PS4 Media Player v2.50 coming soon, adds support for high-res (FLAC) audio files, and user generated 360 videos / photos viewable in VR

https://twitter.com/PlayStation/stat...62612577169408

Your PlayStation 4’s Media Player is getting a new update tomorrow, 13th October, which rolls out support for 360° videos and photos using PlayStation VR, plus introduces new audio support options that’ll benefit audiophiles.

Let’s talk that 360° video and photo support first. If you’ve a PlayStation VR connected to your PlayStation 4, simply activate ‘VR mode’ from Media Player’s Options menu, then select your 360° video or photo from your media server or USB device. You’ll now be able to view your chosen media in full 360° thanks to the power of PlayStation VR.

(Note, to enjoy 360-degree media on PlayStation VR, any supported video – MKV, AVI, MP4, MPEG2 PS , MPEG2 TS, AVCHD – or photo – JPEG, BMP, PNG – files must be captured in equirectangular format by a 360-degree omnidirectional camera.)

But that’s not all. Also as part of tomorrow’s update rollout, v2.50 also introduces improvements to your audio experience. Once updated, the PS4 Media Player will not only support High-Res (FLAC) audio files, but will also upscale your non-FLAC music to near high-resolution audio quality.

The latter is thanks to Sony’s DSEE HX™ technology. What this means is any MP3s or AACs – files whose space-saving compression strips out some of a song’s subtleties – played through your PlayStation 4 will be automatically upscaled. It means your compressed music will now sound much richer as a result. You can get a more in-depth breakdown on how the technology works here.

@Fatboi1 @Rekkapryde

You guys are Sony GURUS so I need your help because my 'googles' are not helping me find a solution to my issue.

I'm getting this error prompt when I broadcast to twitch from my PS4
"Your internet connection is not sufficient enough to broadcast gameplay"

Now, I've streamed a LOT of shyt since PS4 dropped and my internet is not a problem as I get around 90mbps down and 10mbps up. I've tried this over wifi and I just took my fukking console out of mancave and brought it up to my office and hardwired it and I still got this message.

I googled around and I cannot find an answer to why this shyt is happening.
:aicmon:

I'm thinking this might be related to the recent 4.00 update, but I'm not sure, cause it was working perfectly after it first dropped. I don't have a capture card, but maybe it's time to get one, cause this janky ass shyt is pissing me off. Just trying to stream/archive my gameplay on Twitch and this problem is making my content look all pixelated and then blacks out after a while.

Yeha, it probably was regarding the 4.00 update, especially if it's a new issue for you, as that update caused a few wonkiness in other areas as well. I was getting game crashes very often in KOFXIV whenver I got online and initially thought it was something up with just that game (considering that it had online issues out the gate initially and since had some sort of update to rectify that), tho it did happen for me 1nce with SFV too. Haven't they sinced did another smaller update to clean up some of these types of issues tho? I haven't had the game crashing shyt happen in a while, but I also haven't played KOFXIV in weeks too back when it was prevalent for me.

Did you get your situation fixed yet bro?

Streaming quality is still trash doing it from the console. I've noticed it's bad on other people's streams as well that I follow.

Word? I have a peculiar issue on occasion with my uploads to youtube. For some reason, after the upload, I'll get forewarned by YT that my video appears to be shaky and that they can do post-processing to fix it, to which seemingly just makes the situation worse tho. THe vid be just fine when I preview it before uploading tho and since it's done all within the PS4, as opposed to a handheld cam, etc., Ionno why the vids come out shaky in the first place. See below to what I'm talking about.

Ionno what casues it, it's not due to the update tho, cuz it happened a few times prior to the update as well.

Just bought 3 years worth.
That's what I did too. I'm good through 12/19/2020.

For those who are wondering how to look at your PS+ expiration date:

Easiest way is to go to the Sony PSN website and look under Media (hopefully you've downloaded a few of the Instant Game Collection). You'll see the expiration date which correlates to your PS+ expiry date. For PS4, go to Settings > PSN > Account Information > Services List > Playstation Plus.
