Lol, my name is based on
An enormous jaguar god who according to the tales of the Mexican myths, jumped out from the earth to eat the setting sun.
It is said that the spots on his coat represent the nights sky. He makes the whole Earth tremble whenever he raises his voice, and he is the creator of echoes.
He is drawn as a huge jaguar standing upright or perhaps as a human shaped god wearing a jaguars skin. He has much elaborate green head gear with red and yellow marked pieces. he wears a green circular cloth around his neck which is marked with a red stripe. He holds a magical rod which is shaped like an ice-cream in a cone with a trapezium top. Another drawing depicts him as a human jaguar with only simple headgear and a loin cloth.
His name can be translated as 'heart of the mountain' referring to the inside of the mountain. Some people believe he is the same as Mictlantecutli,Tlaltecuhtli,Teoyaomicqui
Interesting! I'm about to look this up.
