Just like on X360, we can download the app and run it that way. Verizon app on XB1 dropped a week or two ago. But that would be taking a step backwards. What PS4 is getting is a port of what the 360 been doing

shyt, you can't even use the TV apps unless you on the same network. They got hip a long time ago and made it so you had to put provider as well. Then it has to match. So you can get away with it, if you for instance use Verizon at home and abroad. Otherwise, you shoat...

I can watch LHN(Longhorn Network) which is an extension off WATCHESPN on my Comcast Internet despite signing in with Uverse credentials as Comcast doesn't even offer the channel. An yes, I do have to select Uverse when signing in.
