What a lot of people don't seem to understand is, the lack of day one features and games is because Sony and then MS, wanted to get the next gen consoles in your living rooms in 2013.

Had we had to wait for "ideal" release conditions where you get everything you want, it would have been Nov 2014 before we seen either console. Now some people say they would have been cool with that but, looking at the sales from both consoles says otherwise.
Waiting for November 2014 would've been unbearable for me.
I'm pleased with the system and it'll get better in as they add more feature. It's been a while I've been this excited for video games.

This game's been nothing but a disappointment since the initial reveal/tech demo.
I'm looking forward to it. Besides it being free-to-play, I haven't came across anything that turns me away from it

After watching some streams on twitch, I'm also looking forward to that game

What's games y'all playing???

strictly ps4: right now i'm mostly playing ac4...will probably be playing that awhile, cause i'm having a ball sailing around exploring, looting, and being a scurge of the seas...although those legendary ships might have something different to say about that....tried the 2 i got unlocked so far, and they whooped my ass lol...

inbetween my pirating sessions, i still run some knack & resogun...gotta get back into warframe and finally pop in killzone and 2k soon though...but it's gonna be hard to pull myself away from ac4 and batman ao on ps3...and they finna drop dmc on ps3 for free tomorrow and tomb raider comes out next week i think for ps4....action/adventure gaming wise, which is probably my fav genre, a brotha good till infamous comes out...

Dish announces streaming app for PlayStation consoles
BY BILLY STEELE 1 hour ago

A troop of new Joey devices wasn't the only thing Dish had up its sleeve for CES. In an effort to bring its streaming chops to game consoles, the company has just announced an app for PlayStation that does just that. Dish customers will be able to take advantage of the Hopper's functionality via its Virtual Joey software on both PlayStation 3 and PS4 consoles to access their favorite TV shows without having to switch devices once that marathon gaming session is up. This software also allows for control via either the DualShock 4 or the Dish remote. The app should arrive for download this spring in the PlayStation Store.

15 minutes is too short doe sometimes :beli: if you want to record 30 minutes of gameplay you gotta be checking with a timer.

nikka time that shyt then :what:. I'm where I game at right now and I have 3 different sources to where I can check the time and it wouldn't be a problem: my phone, cable box, and wall clock (excluding my laptop/tablet that I have in front of me). It shouldn't be too hard to record the footage that you want (if you really want it) even if it's in 15 minute increments. It's always nice to have more of a good thing; however, in my case, I usually always condensed my footage down to a lesser amount of minutes to align the time to where I go on a tear and wreck shyt.

Heck, the time we are allowed to record could've always been reduce to just 5 mins ya know :ehh:.

so what kinda game is don't starve
It's a PS4 owner simulator. :troll:

It's a survival game where you're dropped somewhere randomly and you have to survive using resources from the land. You can craft items like torches and axes to excavate things and to light your surroundings. At night you can get attacked by beasts if you're in complete darkness.

Dish Network app turns your PS3 or PS4 into a virtual set-top box

Virtual Joey app pledges to provide a "nearly identical" experience to the hardware-based version.

by Eddie Makuch on January 6, 2014

Today at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show, Dish Network announced that it will launch a new application on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 this spring that will allow owners to use those systems as virtual Dish set-box boxes.

Of course, you'll need a Dish Hopper subscription to make use of the service.

The "Virtual Joey" app pledges to provide a "nearly identical" experience to the Hopper Whole-Home HD DVR's hardware-based Joey, which allows users to watch live TV and recorded programs.

The software-based Virtual Joey clients will operate on PlayStation users' wireless or wired networks. Once installed, customers can operate the Virtual Joey on PS3 or PS4 using a Dish remote or DualShock controller.

If you're attending the 2014 CES this week, you can check out a demo of the Virtual Joey app at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Central Hall at booth #8243.
