The big thing I took from that article, is if the PS4 gets a big enough lead in sales, and Microsoft decides (read: is forced) to lower the price, they're basically gonna be forced to release a Kinect-less version. Unless of course they wanna take a $70 loss on each system sold (assuming a $100 price cut). The next 12 months should be pretty interesting.

I don't see them dropping Kinect though. It'd be the ultimate admission of a mistake. Moreso than the backpedaling over the summer. Price doesn't drop until 2015 at the earliest IMO. Maybe, next holiday depending on the sales by fall of next year.

Not yet on the quad. I may hold off til February when my situation is more permanent.
