You'll have to at least set it up from the crib for the initial set up. After that, you good as long as you keep the PS4 in sleep mode if you're trying to connect to it while it's "off".

Either thru sony's website or psn, under account managment/services, you can select to cancel auto-renew under any subscription services.

I must've changed the settings on my ps4. I used remote play once while at home but now it's saying it can't find the ps4 over the internet and I know it's in sleep mode not off
ya, probably disabled the option unknowingly.

Remember to keep auto shut down for the controller. That battery drain is real when you arent playing a game.

Man, shyts just as bad on xbox one. We got voice controls for most things
I don't even use the controller except when playing games.
I had to replace the batteries twice already. Thats a once a week average, and I only own one game so its not like I'm going ham.
On the 360, batteries the few times I did use them would last a month if not more.

So I turn my system on, and had a notification telling me that 2K failed to upload to my online storage. I click on it, and it takes me to my application management. I currently have 3 games with data uploaded to the cloud: Killzone (11mb), Battlefield 4 (17mb), and NBA 2K14 (1041mb!!!). I click on 2K14, and there were 62 uploads. 62 fukking uploads. How is that even possible? It seems as if that game, instead of overwriting previous uploads of the same exact thing, it creates a new upload, leaving all the old ones intact.
That game man...BF4 has had it's (major) problems, but 2K is right there with it as far as how horrible it's Next-Gen Launch has gone. What a joke.
