So far so good with my PS4 as well... The only thing I notice is a loud disk spin noise when I put in a game. Never got that with my PS3... Somewhat common on Xbox 360 tho...

I gave the pulse elites and just plug mine into the ds4 with the 3.5mm cable that came with the elites. It works just fine and I don't have to turn on the headset power either
