Preorder lines are crazy in Toronto, every store that does midnight launches are insane - so I can see why people rather purchase online. Plus, sitting out in the cold
If it was in a warm US city, I'd probably line up and enjoy the fukkery. Not when it's negative degrees though
And in-store preorders aren't paid off before hand because the system doesn't allow stores to sell before release date (atleast at Best Buy/Futureshop/EB, they can't.) So it's not a matter of people just walking in and picking up, they still have to process every sale. Downtown BB near me has nearly 150 pre-orders, 250 non-preorder units. You def gone be there for a few hours, on top of the time spent waiting before hand lol.
