I’ve been waiting years for Nikon to drop the 35 1.2. I don’t understand why that lens cost $3k

I don’t give a fukk about edge to edge sharpness and all that other dumb shyt. Just render the photo beautiful.

From a focusing and technical standpoint all Z mount lenses I’ve used have been superior in every way. But when I get home and blow the photos up nothing beats the look of my old ass sigma 105 1.4.

so you need f1.2? At that price point I’m sticking with sigma. Inside stop down to f1.4 when I’m doing video in dark clubs Etc and I have a sigma 24, f1.4 I paid $500 for specifically for that.

Sigma da gawd, My fav lens thats on my camera 99% of the time is a sigma 28mm art 1.4

Their RF lenses thank God canon opened up the mount are cheap as well

@Stir Fry I ordered that 40 mm 2.8 as soon as you posted in this thread. I've been bagging up more mags this week and taking more pics. I finally bagged up most of my Vibe collection. I got a few more years left... It's a pretty good lens. Thanks. Once again, I'm not a professional, this is just a hobby I'm getting back into it..

God damn this thread is a trip down memory lane. 700 pages ago we had nikkas talking about discovering IG and starting to put work on there. :wow: Its now a staple for every photographers portfolio, world wide
