@richtree henrys is having a mega sale on some of their used camera gear
How reliable is their used gear? I got my eye on that EOS 5D Mark IV.

semi-related question for the field: how much of an upgrade is the EOS 5D Mark IV over my 250d? I know it's MUCH better for shooting video, but is it a significant uplift for photography as well?

Henry’s only ships to canada my bad if you’re not from canasa

Henry’s used gear is great, it’s really only stuff that are store displays or rented out for a few days .

A 5d mark iv is still a top camera that many professionals use. Even though canon is really just rf mirrorless now the 5d mark iv is to me still the best dlsr out theee

Huge upgrade over your 250d, dynamic range, iso performance, and sensor alone. I had a 5D Mark IV for 2 years before I switched to mirrorless. Absolutely loved it, would buy another one no questions asked just to have. Check the link below:

the score they gave the 5d for video seems pretty low, and only 6 points higher than my current is kinda concerning. I thought the 5d was known for being very good for video?

Video is not its strong point especially considering all the new models since the Mark IV came to the market. For photography you will notice a difference, I would advise to invest in good glass too, FF sensor takes full advantage of good glass.

....well fukk. Any recommendations for something in the same price point that's good for 4k video (as I'm typing this, this video im watching says the 5d has the same 4k crop that my 250d does :unimpressed:) as well as photography?

I'm not sure on that as I don't do much video except for drone footage. You might have to do a search on rtings, dpreview, ot youtube to see what camera's in your price range have a good mix of video and photo performance.

Getting ready to relocate to the Savannah Georgia area. I hear there's a lot of nice architecture and scenery and I wouldn't mind picking up a new hobby of photography. From what I understand the Nikon d3500 is a good beginner amateur camera that is highly recommended?
I'd say if you got a band to spend, check out the Nikon Z50. I've been liking that one. I might be bias just cause I went from D3400 to D7200 and Z50, but I feel like the mirrorless regardless of brand are the way to go (Nikon'a got a bit of a limited selection of native mirrorless lenses, but they're catching plus have the FTZ adapter. Just find an entry one from Sony(A6000/A6100, Canon(M50) , or Nikon(Z50/Zfc), and you'll be straight. Checkout MPB for used ones. You can find barely used cameras that are marked down.

Flood gates really opened up for my business these past 6 months. I feel blessed but can't lie, it's been overwhelming.
I have to remind myself that I prayed for these "problems" and this is all part of the growing pains of business.
I hope this time next year to have at least 2 people on a regular part time basis helping me out.
It's been hard spending so much time away from the family and grinding but thank God I have an incredibly supportive wife who holds it down when I'm having to work crazy hours.

any reason why i SHOULDN'T get a Sony α7 IV? :patrice::jbhmm:
You are primarily video and would benefit from the S series.

You primarily shoot landscape, birds, weddings and may want the extra MP of the R series.

A7Iv is a great hybrid camera. Really no reason not to get it if you do a little bit of everything and want 1 body.
