Its nice when cameras can pick up details from far away

I use these exclusively and don't have these problems.

It sounds like you might not have hi speed sync on and you're attempting to take high shutter speed shots.

I’ve been sitting here all morning thinking about selling my A7III and going all in on Canon RF mount. I primarily shoot video so the R6 is really all the camera I need but to have something as capable at the R5 at less than $4K is mind-boggling.

I’d like to see what the A7SIII? is going to look like before I make my decision but Canon just put their entire nutsack on the table with these releases. If they had the third-party support Sony has, it would be a no-brainer.

Yeah for hybrid shooters this should be a serious option. The only thing right now is fiddling with adapters and waiting on more native RF lenses to come out.

The R6 is what I wish the R was when it dropped. With (good) IBIS, 10-bit, an articulating screen, DPAF, 4K/60, etc.. it’s the hybrid camera I’ve been waiting for. I’d really like to get it around $2K during the holidays, but I’m already feeling a long bout of GAS coming on.
