I use Model Mayhem and Instagram mostly, some come from referrals. Model Mayhem has been light lately due to just about every model having an IG and checking that more then they check anything else.
do you pay or TFP? I been trying to find models. shyt is scarce out this way.

It depends, if I get a model traveling to my area and she definitely has the experience and the look I'm looking for I don't mind paying. I did quite a bit of TFP to get my port up, worked with a lot of local models. It's scarce my way too, the hard thing is finding models with experience in front of the camera and who actually want to build a port, not just likes on IG. I get my share of flakes on Model Mayhem, gotten used to it. I prefer to work with someone who is experienced and great at posing while I make sure my lighting and composition is spot on.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
can anybody recommend a good stabilizer for a nikon d5300 or universal DSLR?

I'm going back looking at some videos i recorded in Brazil.. it's so fine with the shooting, that even the slightest shake makes the video look jumpy

either that or a app/plug/settings that fixes camera shake on video

Opteka X-GRIP Professional Camera / Camcorder Action Stabilizing Handle with Accessory Shoe for Flash, Mic, or Video Light

Your camera mounts like in the pic, as you are recording you can carry the the stabilizer by the foam grip area and move where you need to film. It's nothing special, just a basic stabilizer for the camera, it will minimize the shake effect while you walk and move with it.

Now I've seen a Glidecam setup used at a wedding, that shyt was buttery smooth, however the system cost $$$

between MM and craigslist you can find models anywhere

actually you'd get more responses faster using CL and stand out more due to being way better than the average person you'd find on there
