I need one mainly to take product shots for our business and for our blog. This will be our first camera.

The camera doesn't really matter for product shots you need to get a prime lens and some lighting equipment.

I'm about to buy the a6000. I'm assuming that's a good camera? It had good reviews on Amazon

Sony Gave me one of those last year to play with for a few weeks and give my thoughts.

Decent Camera but you still need to buy a prime lens for it if you want to take decent product shots.

I personally wouldnt buy that cam (would get a nikon or canon) but i just saw this on google it might be useful.

Been shooting with the A6000 for years now. It's main selling point is it's size and packing a powerful punch in a small form factor...

Lenses will be more expensive and you won't have as many to choose from with it compared to Canon or Nikon
