Any Canon brehs have the 24mm? Thought about getting the 50mm 1.4 since I sold my 1.8, but that 24 has me intrigued ...

How far away are we talking? Can the 16-50 do at least what a regular camera can zoom wise?

Pretty far, the 55-210 isn't practical for common situations like just shooting indoors in a house/room, or doing like street photography. What kind of photography are you going to be doing? It's also a big lens so if your goal is to be mobile and pocketable with the camera, you won't be getting that with the 55-210 attached.

I've only used it when I go to sporting events to be honest with you.

I'll mostly be shooting and learning with street photography because I live in a city. I do have a interest in landscape photography, and i'll be going to Phoenix this summer with my camera and will be out shooting the scenery (I guess its all dessert).

Don't worry about the 55-210mm, you won't use it much

I have had people buy 24 x 36 poster size prints from me, I also had a 24x36 canvas made for my wall art at home.
