after doing hours of research ive decided against the T5 since it doesnt have auto focus and i plan to shoot some video too
now im debating between the T5i and SL1
i got a dude on ebay who accepted my best offer for a T5i with EF-S 18-55mm IS STM for $380
i also can get a SL1 for $360 with a EF-S 18-55mm IS STM or $399 with a EF-S 18-55mm IS STM and a EF-S 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS II
out of those 3 which should i get? or am i fukking up by passing on he cheaper T5
i plan on using this for random photos, vacations, holidays, weddings.I also plan to shoot some video(mostly parties, some youtube stuff, and pornos )
help a beginner out brehs

Yeah was planning on getting a 50mm f/1.8 STM lense off amazon no matter what cam i go withThere doesn't appear to much difference between the SL1 and the T5i. I'd get the SL1 for $399 with a EF-S 18-55mm IS STM and a EF-S 55-250 f/4-5.6 IS II getting the 2 lenses will be beneficial depending on what you are shooting. Eventually you'll want to get some different lenses, but that's later down the line.

Good lookingSave the money and get a prime 50 mm. You won't spend over $200 and for what you lose in zoom you gain in flat out crisp images and know how in what to shoot instead of relying on lenses and equipment to do the work for you. By having a prime lens you learn alot more about shutter/aperture control in my opinion.
For just family photos and weddings and the sort you really don't need anything beyond it. Those long lenses really only come in handy if you plan on shooting LOADS of lifestyle stuff, sports or wildlife. Anything beyond that is more than what the average prosumer would need. If I were you i'd start there then move on to more sophisticated equipment.
Just bought a Canon 700d the other day, complete noob to photography, just thought id post these ones up though still
getting the hang of utilising ISO, aperture and shutter speeds etc ..... gonna experiment and explore tomorrow for some better scenes.
Post the photo brehone of my photos wound up in print... Trying to figure out how to approach the magazine. I ain't eeeeem mad.
