What if Coach O'Brien does pull off some miracle and PSU is competitive after our football team serves it's time under the sanctions?
He doesn't have Brady at PSU.
No Wolverines around to save you.

The grace period is only this year I'm pretty sure, so you can't wait till your junior year and oh I want to play without sitting out a year.
I can see freshies and sophs leaving, junior and seniors unless you are a big star and can play right away eh
Starting is always better than rotting on te bench or playing special teams or nickel and dime packages

I know...gonna be a 6-10 year rebuilding plan most likely, I hope they let BOB do his thing and keep him around -- let him weather the storm.
But I'm talking specifically about the guys on the current roster jumpin ship..I don't see it happening in flocks like some people see a lot of the players have already been vocal about staying at PSU..Silas, Hodges, Hill we gotta watch out for. But again, we'll see how it turns out.
And there's always hope for guys like: Deon Butler Statistics | College Football at Sports-Reference.com and Matt McGloin Statistics | College Football at Sports-Reference.com who have exceeded all expectations after being walk-ons.
O'Brien is a damn fighter that's for sure. As far as I know, only one reserve OL has defected, but I could be wrong cuz I'm not current on it. Kids see themselves as a family, can't see this going down as a total collapse.
Plus they know BOB can get them to the NFL. Nobody is gonna miss playing in the Meineke Car Care Bowl , plus BOB said he will try to schedule a marquee opponent at the end of each season to serve as basically a de facto bowl game.
I don't think the defection will be as bad as I am fearing it will be, but I'm not sure. Recruiting may be another story but I think current players are solid
Like I said if I was a senior or junior why would I leave?
Been there for 3-4 years, built friendships, relationships, bled blue and white, and to abandon that to go to another city where you don't know anyone, different system run, prob have the respect of a walk on freshman.
Looks like Silas Redd might be bouncing to USC.
