You know brehs,
@Imgone8itch be positive all through the season. I wanna give some positive words about the team for once.
We’ve definitely come a long way. Got a fly stadium in a glitzy town, and we have a lot of offensive weapons. We’ve at least shown that we can be a middle of the pack team which is far better than what we’ve been. So in hindsight, we have much less shyt to repair than we have normally had in the past.
With that said honesty is also important. The defense speaks for itself there’s a need for talent everywhere but especially the front 7. As for the Carr question, he’s a good QB, I think teams that are further along might do more with him, but I think his success lies in how good the team is around him and even then it’s still a question mark with him as well as with Gruden’s play calling.
To me that’s why you trade for Watson. A younger and more dynamic QB might help Gruden open up his playbook and be more innovative. It does beg the question why Gruden would need an even better QB if he’s supposed to be able to get the best out of QBs which would suggest that Carr is enough. In my opinion, Gruden is aight but he’s not all he’s cracked up to be. Two so-so guys at the most critical positions in football isn’t a good recipe for success. So since the chances of Gruden leaving or giving playcalling duties to someone else are slim the better option is to get Watson and send Carr to a place where he can flourish.
