u know whats funny the raiders had the 16th oldest roster last year but the media want to continue to harp on that shyt since we sign players who are 30 years old.
plus we will have some more younger players in the draft.

Sproiles is older and had weaker numbers but they made it seem like the eagles got a steal and shyt .

he might, but he's no fit with the raiders. the rest of free agent CB's are 33 or older. just have to draft one with the hopes the D-line and linebackers can get pressure on the QB so they don't get exposed
so raiders added a little depth with the signing of DE CJ wilson from the Packers

Maurice Jones-Drew calls out bandwagon 49ers fans "Pick a team and stay with them"
e Raiders have brought former De LaSalle football start and Antioch (East Bay) California native, Maurice Jones-Drew to play for them. In doing so he gets to come back and play for the team he grew up a fan. He made it clear in a conference call today that he was a Raiders fan through but he can't say the same for a lot of other people he knows who switched allegiances when times got tough.

"I was a Raiders fan," Jones-Drew said emphatically. "It's funny, the Bay Area cracks me up, man. There's certain people that I know, I won't say any names who were Raiders fans growing up and now that the Niners are doing well, they're Niner fans now. So, it's uh... some people are just funny."

The former All Pro back also said he is glad to be able to return and play in front of his family and friends who rarely got to see him all the way in Jacksonville.
"It feels great," Jones-Drew said of his return to the Bay Area. "I've spent every off-season here. It's something where everything worked worked out. My kids don't have to move around anymore, they can stick in one school, I can play in front of my grandmother who rarely got to see me in Jacksonville because of the flying situation. It's a blessing you know, just to be able to start my career here in the Bay Area in Antioch and be able to finish here in Oakland. It's gonna be an exciting couple years here."

I love it when local kids (like MJD, James Jones and Kirk Morrison) who grew up in the Bay get to play for their favorite team growing up.
Reggie has been building depth at the OLine and DLine and it's about time we started building from the trenches. Being a copycat league, it seems Tarver will hopefully mirror what Seattle did last year with that DLine and create a very competitive atmosphere during camp. We still need a nickel back and I can see Terrell Thomas signing with us. He was here last week. I also wouldn't mind giving a shot to Dmitri Patterson.
Man, I hope Reggie has the gonads to give Desean a look and maybe a 1-2 year incentive laden contract. We have the cap space and that would be a crazy look. If Watkins is at 5, I'd still go after him. Could you imagine, Desean, J Jones, Watkins as the core? Andre Holmes and Streater rotating in and out...

that Fargas, DMC, & Bush trio was real nice. But, once we got Reece, the DMC, Bush, & Reece combo was just perfect when they played together, all 3 complimented each other really good, but just imagine MJD now in the mix seems even better on paper now, plus we still have Murray who has promise and lets see what we get out of Sheets too.

Yall talking bout drafting a corner in the 1st round knowing that it takes a corner coming out of college a couple years to develop. We need someone here now who can start a full game, that's experienced, can cover, and tackle. Should have got the starting corner in free agency.
