Major upgrade. He never really had a qb and he still put up numbers. Carr is an upgrade from anything he’s had. I wouldn’t be mad at this

Gus was a good hire. Had a few teams after him so it’s not like he a bum. had a top ten defense more then once. Molded the L.O.B, Jacksonville had a pretty decent defense under him. Molded Ramsey, miles Jack, Ngakoue.
Defense played well aginst the chiefs when he was with the chargers. Knows the division including the chargers inside out. We don’t need to be the 85 bears just be middle of the pack and we in the playoffs. Plays a cover 3 so we will not be getting burned deep. Way better then that cover two we was playing. He also brought with him the best cornerback coach in the game.
hopefully he transforms Abrams and Mullen into the new kam and Richard. We need to get help on the line. I’d love Justin Simmons or jeremaine Johnson at safety since we will be in single high a lot. Also we need to get Leonard willams and trade for a D.E we won’t have enough to sign a player like Leonard Floyd, but with a solid push up the middle and maybe a vet like jj watt we should be ok.

With some many holes on defense just can’t afford it. I wouldn’t be surprised if the raiders drafted the awe. From Alabama. And used free agency to sign vets on defense. I mean Robinson or Goodwin would be great if anything we will end up with Sammy Watkins or ty Hilton
They got more than enough ball catchers already. Only thing offense needs is some o line help.

I don't trust Agholor, I wouldn't be mad if they let him walk. We do need a true #1 WR which I feel they can go out and get and not break the bank. Could even get Tyrell to restructure his a bit keep him to see what he still has. Cable has to get the line fixed cause run blocking was awful.

I hope we resign Agholor and get Ruggs and Edwards a full training camp to get on board....A true #1 would be nice but we have too many holes on the roster
My main focus is on the D ..if we can get to middle of the pack on Defense with Gus and some good picks and FA's we can make noise next year...Mullen and Arnette need to grow the hell up quick and we need a real pass rush if we want any chance to compete for a playoff spot
On a sidenote ....I hope we can go to a game at the new stadium next year ...looking forward to tailgating with my fellow Raider Brethren..not looking good RN tho

Then he tries to blame it all on the kid and says he has to do a better job running routes and getting open. Ruggs is winning alot of the time for whatever reason Carr is already looking to get the ball elsewhere. Gruden creates plays to make sure Carr throws to Witten only, Ingold only, and Renfrow only. Seems he just throws basic shyt together for Ruggs with no creativity whatsoever
