Pryor needs a staff that believes in him, he's shown that he can do things well. This coaching staff wants a pocket Alex smith type qb. It's pretty clear now that Allen is not long for this team due to the brutal schedule next year and also due to buying into Reggie's hype about not having enough talent. I bet you the next coach won't come in here popping that B.S because make no mistake about it, he works for the son of al davis and he will only take the excuses for so long.

Allen will be gone if not tomorrow then next year, book it!

Trent Edwards tho :what: :wtf:

T-Pry got us 3 wins this year and macac barely beat houston.. the worst team in the L..

Yeah but the defense have up 18, 17, and 9 points forcing 7 turnovers, and scoring a TD of their own in those wins. And it's not like he was lighting it up out there

Mark Davis confirms Dennis Allen remains as Raiders head coach

All signs seemed to point toward Dennis Allen remaining as the head coach of the Oakland Raiders for the 2014 season.

According to Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com, Raiders owner Mark Davis said that Allen is still the head coach after a meeting between the two parties on Tuesday night.

Allen wouldn’t speak to reporters about how the meeting with Davis went when leaving team headquarters Tuesday evening. The status of Allen’s assistant coaches appeared to be one of the holdups in talks between the two sides. Only offensive coordinator Greg Olson and linebackers coach Bob Sandershad contracts for next season and Allen was apparently only willing to give one-year extensions to the remaining assistants.

Whatever issues remained appear to have been smoothed over as Allen is set to return next season. The Raiders have posted consecutive 4-12 campaigns in the last two seasons under Allen.

Well with Allen as our coach and with McGloin as our QB at least we have a 99% chance at getting Jameis Winston or another top prospect next draft. Speaking of McGloin, the only team that he beat was the Texans, the team with the first pick in the draft and he was gifted field position due to turnovers in that game. I feel no hope with this team and I cant even say I trust Reggie with that dead free agent money.

:shaq2: 8-24 gives you another year now, even though the team has quit on the coach 2 years in a row. Man we are fukked, Bridgewater is the only franchise QB in this draft, but we won't get him, and Clowney could be in play, but McKenzie is probably not going to take him due to his "character issues". Allen wants his "pocket passer". Don't see the point in bringing Allen back, especially with that hard as fukk schedule coming up facing the NFC West in 2014. He's probably going to be a lame duck coach, but fukk it, it is what it is. :beli: Manziel and McCarron is who both McKenzie & DA want for their "pocket passer" as we speak. :heh:
