Schaub was always mediocre, it was just hidden by him throwing to Andre Johnson and handing off to Foster.
at best, he's a poor mans, poor mans Matt Stafford.
he's a older version of andy dalton
But there is nothing hidden with Stafford throwing to calvin johnson?
but lets just say there isn't, how come schuab has had a qbr over 90% six times, but stafford has only once ?
how come schuab completions percentage is higher every year with lower interceptions?
stafford just chugs the ball in the air to calvin , this man has had 19,17,16,20 interception seasons!
but why argue over schuab and stafford???
when we are choosing between schaub, vick , freeman, sanchez ?

they didn't have a running game, and they had to play catch-up in many games.
Nobody has had more attempts in a season than Stafford. you throw the ball 600-700 times a season, you're bound to throw a lot of picks.
not to mention, there were no Brian Cushings, Mario Williams or JJ Watt's playing in Detroit.

Vick brings an added dimension to the offense that Freeman can't....although Freeman is the better passer, Vick brings more to the table.
With Vick, it'll be a more attractive situation to potential free agents to want to play in....Freeman doesn't exactly have that type of name for himself around the league.
Vick will also put asses in the seats, just cause people still believe that he still has something left in the tank.
i like Freeman over Schaub, just because if it came down to just having a guy who's there just to be a game manager, without many weapons around him....he's been able to perform fairly well at it... plus he has a stronger arm than Schaub, and is more mobile.

Freeman also has the motivation to prove he's worthy of an starting job somewhere... especially after how he got kicked out of Tampa, and that
outing with the Vikings.
I don't think Bridge is going to be the answer for us brehs. I like Bridge, but I think I might be starting to lean towards Johnny fukkery brehs if we take a QB at 5. But, would prefer taking Mack or Watkins at 5, or trading back and I guess I wouldn't mind taking Carr than in the 2nd round than.

Came to post the same thing. Ran a 4.79, looked a little flabby and real shaky with some throws. I really haven't liked him at all, I get Geno vibes from him.
Yeah i agree.. it look like the better option right now is finish getting offensive lineman here in free agency, going ahead and get matt schaub since i know who they are pursuing , hopefully get MJD or another quality RB in here and with the 5th pick draft watkins and next round get david carr then cause since i know who they pursing also.
