Joyner may be moved to the slot. If he stay at safety anyone is better then Nelson. He was franchise two seasons agony the rams. he is a b player which is a major upgrade from the f- we had so I’m happy. Hopefully we can add, cj mosley and Houston. Or bell and cook. Any combo of the two is great. If we lose out on bell his last 2 games or 3 games as a Steeler he had 65 yard avg and missed a season.james Connor step in and put up similar numbers to bell. I don’t kno if his pause before hitting the hole will work with every team. I’m not saying I don’t want him but if we don’t get him it’s not the end of the world we doing well i free agency. We won day one and don’t forget we still have around 30 mill left, 4 picks in the first 35 of the draft . We can cut penn and Seth and add another 10 mill. It’s bright days ahead for raider nation and we fuking deserve it! In Gruden and Mayock we trust!

I think the issue was Mark didn’t have the actual cash to pay Mack’s huge bonus. If we hit on these draft picks, it might end up being a brilliant move as we’ll have a slew of talented players on much cheaper contracts to make up for Mack’s production.
It’s kinda similar to the Lakers trading guys like DLo in order to open a second max FA spot. If Magic signs an impact max FA this summer then his gamble paid off. Same here with Gruden.
