If it wasn’t for that contract a deal would’ve been done. I’m sure the front office has taken notice of how bad last year was for them.

We did it!! We flipped amari and Mack for 3 1ones and the best wr in the game we still have 4 of the top 35 picks let’s go!! In Gruden we trust! Im so fuking hyped!!
Exactly. That was why I didn’t think we’d actually do this deal. But the backlash from the Mack trade was so bad they had to make a big move. And yet, they could’ve just gave Mack his money and kept building the defense through the draft which was the plan all along anyway.
Whatever, good that we got him. If they can make more splashes and actually build a team maybe this last season (or two) in Oakland will be enjoyable.

We tried to make Mack the highest paid defensive player in football. He declined. At some point u have to move on. Would u rather have brown, and hopefully bell and a another player. With 4 picks in the top 35. Or pay Mack if we snag josh Allen or Bosa we can a quick turnaround
