:what: So the Raiders supposedly offered Veldheer a 10 mill a year contract, but Veldheer is going to turn that down to play for the Cardinals for 7.5 mill? He really wants to leave the Raiders that badly, I guess he really wants to play with Palmer than. That's the only way I see why the Raiders would be paying Safford more than Veldheer.

“I’ve done my share of recruiting,” Reece said. “I’ve been in contact with guys and if they get here, they’ll let you know that I was on them. Reggie will know that I was on him and (owner Mark Davis) will let you know that I was on him. We have to take care of our own first, but once free agency hits, we want anybody and everybody who is willing to come here not for the money or a cap-space number. We want guys who want to be a part of this Raiders tradition. We want guys who want to win.”

Heed Breed.
When the team has been pure shyt we have every right to be mad at this fukking garbage team.

Irrelevant losers for the last 10 years.
but getting depressed over write ups that are full of speculation is weird. writers/websites know there are millions of fans googling there teams state. they have articles titled" jared allen might land in oakland, miami, washignton , arizona , chargers." lol . the obvious keywords route. then you got unheard of nikkas tweeting shyt , taking it back , tweeting some more shyt. I mean who are these nikkas ??

i only take in what i hear from the players and the team page, or espn nd them.

all in all. get depressed when the action happens , not what if imaginary bullshyt.

i feel you on the sucking so bad part, but we in a great postion as of now, money here , new stadium coming, the owner and players expressing the exact feeling we feel. If reggie dont spend the money , then next year he gone and we still got the money . we coo.

i honestly cant see reggie not make it rain with the owner and player and fans down his neck . hes human and im pretty sure he wants to keep a gm position of a professional team.

raiders will not get these top 3 or 5 free agents

miami, chicago and washington have money also and are close to making playoffs

raiders will have to overpay i hope they dont or be content on finding quality hard nose players that are unknowns like seattle

thats why u draft a qb and a top receiver and try to find free agent defensive players and o lineman

Rolando McClain retired at the age of 23. He's hoping to launch a comeback at 24.

The Carroll County Times reported Monday, via a source close to the player, that McClain "is in a better place mentally," is working out regularly and has been telling people for months that he plans to return to football in 2014.

The trouble-prone linebacker signed with the Baltimore Ravens last spring, but retired shortly after an arrest for disorderly conduct. It was McClain's third arrest since entering the league as the eighth overall pick of the Oakland Raiders in the 2010 NFL Draft.

After his retirement, McClain re-enrolled at Alabama and has spent time as a student assistant under Alabama coach Nick Saban.

"I admire the kid for coming back to Tuscaloosa, going to class and trying to get everything in his life outside of football situated," agent Pat Dye Jr. said last September. "It's not my decision to come back or not come back. I think ultimately he wants to play again. He's only 24 years old.

He's talented. It's just a shame. It was such a great situation there in Baltimore."

The Ravens retain McClain's contractual rights, but you wonder if general manager Ozzie Newsome will still be interested during a Ravens offseason already marked by legal troubles.

Is Veldheer even that good/worth 10 mill a year?

Isn't dude always injured/allegedly using steroids?

I need a Raiders fan to explain the Veldheer hype?:dahell:

He has been good, and is really good at goalline blocking especially. He was the best player on offense for the Raiders, not sure if that is saying much though. He can be a Pro-Bowler, but wouldn't pay Clady money though. Most of his hype comes for his combine workouts. It was reported Raiders offered a 5 year 10+ mill deal, but it looks like he might turn that down to play for the Card's for 7.5 mill instead? :wtf: It really doesn't make sense, especially if the Raiders are going to pay 8 mill for Rodger Saffold, and it can't be to play G, which is his best position, so I'm assuming they want him to play both LT & RT. I would want Eugene Monroe with Saffold which would be a nice upgrade at the OL position.
