Honestly, as much as I'd like to blame KNJ this shyt ain't fair to him. What talent aside from Mack does he have to work with? Edwards is always injured, McKenzie keeps drafting crazy risks and project players, most of his signings haven't worked out, it's a no win situation imo. Now I'm sure a better coordinator might be able to squeeze a bit more out of this defense but let's be real it's a trash unit overall.

It'd be one thing if this defense was talented across the board but you can only do so much with this mostly pathetic bunch.

Amerson was rated a top corner after he came here from Washington. Smith was a top corner. Mack defensive player of the year the jury out on mario. Reggie Nelson a pro bowler Irvin wasn't a bum. I'll give u we haven't really had lb but we don't have bums across the board we can only spend so much money it's up to the coaches to get the best out of what we have. Again it's being out of position leverage and being completely lost. We give up huge yards because we don't generate no pressure so why don't we blitz more it's not like it's gonna make a difference so if we can't cover make the qb make a quick decision. Again all on coaching. Do we need better players of course all teams do but at some point we have to develop what we have that's what they get paid for the guys are in the NFL for a reason it's up to the coaches to get the best out of them and put them in the right position and schemes to succeed.

I can agree with u but Shaq and ward was last years draft. I think Shaq playing out of position ward has been hurt but I think we should see more production out of these guys. It was some debate about white, Leonard Williams or Cooper. Mack was a no brainer Washington, and jalen getting Crabtree for penny's on the dollar building the best line in the NFL we went from no playoffs in a decade to being considered a serious championship squad in 5 years come on I know the defense a lil suspect but Reggie was executive of the year
