Raiders part ways with linebacker Kevin Burnett
The Oakland Raiders released linebacker Kevin Burnett on Friday after he failed to be medically cleared for training camp.
Burnett suffered an ankle injury during the offseason.
In 2013, the 31-year-old started all 16 games, with 105 tackles, 2 1/2 sacks and one interception. The 9-year veteran played for four teams during his career - Oakland, Miami, San Diego and Dallas - with totals of 628 tackles, 20 sacks and five interceptions.
